May 9, 2016 – Calgary, AB - As the devastating effects of the fire in Fort McMurray continue to displace families and cause catastrophic damage to the city and surrounding regions, C&V Portable Accommodations Ltd. is committed to helping those in their time of need.
We have recently partnered with the Alberta Government to provide sleeper units to accommodate fire fighters and emergency workers with remote location housing as they continue to fight the fire that has ravaged their community.
As the situation evolves, we are actively engaged in joint efforts with our customers, the government and other emergency service providers to address both immediate and long-term accommodation and support solutions. We have offered C&V’s significant fleet of accommodation units to help residents, emergency workers and government officials.
"Our first concern is the safety and security of all those affected by this terrible fire," said James Johnson, Chairman of C&V Portable Accommodations Ltd. "We will continue to partner with the Alberta Government to provide accommodation units to the brave men and women risking their lives to save our neighbouring community."
In the coming weeks and months, as the people of Fort McMurray begin to rebuild, C&V Portable Accommodations Ltd. is committed to being a source of support and a help in any and all ways. At C&V, our passion for building, selling and renting relocatable structures started in 1977 when the founding partners started C&V Portable Accommodations in Alberta. Today, C&V is proud to hold the values for great service, quality work, honesty and innovation.
